Joanna Stroz, Polish percussionist, graduated in classical percussion at the conservatoire in Krakow, Poland. Additional studies at Fynske Musikkonservatorium with Søren Monrad and Anders Mogensen.
JS’s repetoire includes both classical and rhythmic percussion. Many concerts all over Europa bear witness to the versatility of JS’s activities: Krakow Opera Orchester, International Theatre festival in Morocco, Nordisk Slagtøj Trio at the Musikhøst festival for new compositions i Odense, musical festival in Stary Sacz, Poland with Modern Etno Trio, International Percussion Festival, Krakow, Poland with Helios project Slagtøjsensemble.
In addition, JS plays marimba in Esperanza Duo, the quartette Descarga and the musical project Angic Zorts
